Stefan Kjartansson first got hooked on the design dope in 1987, at age 17, during a summer job at AUK ehf in Reykjavik. He graduated from The Icelandic Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik, Iceland in 1993; and within years of moving to the United States found himself VP, Creative for CNN Interactive. Since 2001 he has been the Creative Director for Armchair Media. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
